Breaking Changes

Requires Microsoft SQL 2017 or later for both on-premises and hosted environments. SQL Express Edition or higher is supported
Windows Server 2016 or later is recommended
Requires Microsoft IIS Server with minimum version of .Net 8
Requires MIP Fund Accounting version 2024.x.x or higher
Email setup must use OAuth2 authentication; Basic authentication is no longer supported
Two-step authentication is available and requires setup for either SMS or email verification
Previous passwords will not be accepted. Users must authenticate using their email address and a temporary passcode
User defined fields based on SQL script will not be supported due to risk of SQL injection
No cost upgrade for customers with an active support and maintenance plan
Attachments stored in our SQL Database "MWFMAttachments" will be migrated to a network drive. Optionally, you can choose to use a Microix Azure Blob Storage (NOTE: With Azure Blob Storage, additional fees may be assessed for data exceeding 2 TB)
Customized forms\reports for timesheets, purchase orders, and invoices will be incompatible and will default to our standard forms\reports for each module
Direct link to Housing Data System (HDS) is not supported. Integration must be achieved using our REST API endpoint
Windows Client tabbed interface will not be supported
Direct scanning “Batch Scanning” directly into the application as found in the Windows Client is not supported
Backward compatibility with Windows Client and Web Companion is not supported
Invoice Capture, Bank Feed, and Travel Reimbursement are new add-on features available for activation at an extra cost
Workflows routing will supports having multiple departments sign off on expenses, including the ability to handle value within a specified range
Enhanced Security
Enhanced security using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), offering options to receive codes via Email or Short Message Service (SMS)
Account lockout feature requiring administrator intervention for unlocking
Support for adding an alternative email address or personal phone number based in the United States
Administrators can set the number of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) attempts and define the application idle timeout period
